Odor-Absorbing Power

Catalyst Pet understands that resident cat smells aren’t something you want to waft through your home. Wood is the purr-fect way to ensure your cat’s litter box traps odors and will have your friends saying, “Really? A cat lives here?”

The plant fibers in natural, dried wood are absorbent and trap odors right where they start – much more effectively than clay. Catalyst litter is made with pinewood residuals only – no bark, no needles, no phenols. These wood residuals can absorb four to seven times their weight in liquid, and they do so incredibly quickly. The moisture barely has a chance to emit an odor before the Catalyst litter does its job.

Two of our formulas, multi-cat and healthy cat, have a light natural scent added for added freshness. Our unscented formula simply relies on the wood’s natural pine scent, for humans or kitties who prefer unscented litter.

Added scent or not, our customers rave about how excellent our litter is at absorbing smells.

“Love the smell! Actually super love this litter! It smells really good. It doesn’t have that powdery smell and actually does absorb!” – Samantha D.

“Good stuff! Great odor control and absorption. Tracking is limited as well!” – Rikki A.

“My house has never smelled better. The house smells of Pine and I don't get sick of the natural scent. The cats all like the litter. In fact when I scoop and throw it in the garage it even makes the garage smell like pine. My garbage and my garage have never smelled as good either. I'm pretty sure I'm a lifetime customer!” – Jennifer G.

Smell it (or don’t) for yourself!

Why You Should Leave Clay Litter in the Dust

Most cat lovers are not aware that clay litters are made of sodium bentonite, a mineral that is strip-mined and not biodegradable, but that’s not where the problems end. Clay litter can also be unhealthy for your furry feline.
