We’re excited to start a new series where you’ll meet the people behind Catalyst Pet and the cats who inspire their work every day!
First up: Joy, our customer support manager, and her adorable cat, Georgia.
Joy has been with Lignetics, Catalyst Pet’s parent company, for five years, overseeing customer support across all brands. She’s dedicated to making sure customers have top-tier assistance. Joy handles everything from answering questions about Catalyst’s eco-friendly litter to helping customers find the perfect product for their cats. When asked, she’s quick to reassure customers that our litter is not only safe for cats but also made with sustainability in mind. She's even been asked if our litter can work for outhouses (the answer is yes, it can absorb in an outhouse)!
Joy’s cat Georgia is the furry star of the family. She’s an eight-year-old rescue who came to Joy from a hoarding situation, and she’s been living her best life ever since, with plenty of cozy spots, cuddles, and tasty meals. Her favorite activities? Eating, napping and more eating! Her favorite hooman is her "big sister" Jillian. Probably her least favorite housemate is Zander, a large canine who thinks they are best friends.
When it comes to her litter box, Georgia is very particular, and she loves the soft texture of Catalyst litter on her paws. Georgia has even been known to throw an occasional “litter party,” flinging shavings around like party glitter. Luckily, the Catalyst Mat catches all the mess, making cleanup a breeze.
