How to use Pine pellets cat litter
Introducing your cat to Wood Pellets Litter.
To properly introduce your cat to Wood Pellets Litter, pour the required one inch of litter into the pan and cover with one to two inches of the brand you are currently using. Do not stir the litter box. Repeat this process, if necessary, when you change the litter again, reducing the amount of the other brand until your cat accepts Wood Pellets Litter completely.
Continued use after introduction.
Once your cat has adjusted to the Wood Pellets Litter, pour Wood Pellets Litter into a litter box covering the bottom with one inch of product. If more than one cat uses the box, don’t add extra Wood Pellets Litter, simply change the litter more often.
Scooping.
Scoop out the solid waste daily. When removing the solids, stir the litter or shake the box gently from side to side. This will rejuvenate and redistribute the fresh pine scent. It will also keep the broken down pellets at the bottom of the litter box. This eliminates the tracking.
Empty the litter box when all the pellets have broken down.
Depending on the number of cats and visits to the box daily, the litter should last 2 weeks. Clean and refill the litter box with one inch of Wood Pellets Litter. You can dispose of the old litter in the compost pile (solids removed) or in your garden as it is 100% biodegradable.
