Here's the Scoop: Low Dust with Catalyst Pet

Here's the Scoop: Low Dust with Catalyst Pet

If you've ever poured a scoop of clay litter and watched a cloud of dust fill the air, you know the feeling. It gets on your clothes, your furniture and into your lungs—and your cat's. Catalyst Pet cat litter is low dust, so you can skip the dust cloud and breathe a little easier. But don't just take our word for it. Here's what real customers had to say about the difference.

"I was very skeptical at first, and waited months to pull the trigger on the subscription. I was so used to buying clay in the store. It was hard to imagine that there was a healthier option out there that would do the magic trick. After using this litter, I'm a believer! Not only is it less dusty, but it is very absorbent, without staying wet for long periods of time like clay. It takes me less time to sift through and the smell has drastically decreased. The trash bags are much lighter and it's overall so much cleaner! My cats' wheezy breathing has improved greatly. We will NOT be going back to clay."
Ruby M. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"I am so happy with your Catalyst Pet cat litter. I've tried just about everything on the market, including that very expensive Pretty Litter, which does not work. The only thing is the crystals can change color but that's it. It does not control odor and they say no dust … wrong answer. I have two litter boxes (large ones) for three cats and keep them in my large closet. All my clothes hanging in there, especially the black ones, were covered in a white powder from the Pretty Litter. I read about your litter online and decided to give it a try. Not only do I have the convenience of having it delivered to my door but it's so lightweight and controls the odors completely, plus my three cats love it. I am 100% satisfied with your product. Thank you Catalyst Pet from me and my three happy cats."
Betsy S. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"Great woodsy odor that lasts the entire month. There's little clean up and our kitty Livie took right to it. The thing that is most noticeable is there isn't any dust. All of our previous litters, who claimed no dust, there was always dust. We love the convenience of having the litter delivered to our front door, no more lugging heavy litter home."
Susan C. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The bottom line: Catalyst Pet cat litter is low dust, so you and your cats can breathe easier. Unlike traditional clay litters that release airborne silica dust, Catalyst is made from upcycled soft wood fiber—no silica, no dust clouds, no gritty residue on your furniture.

Got questions? We've got answers.

Is Catalyst Pet cat litter dusty?

Catalyst Pet is a low-dust cat litter. Unlike clay litters that can release silica dust into the air, Catalyst is made from upcycled soft wood fiber, so no dust clouds when you pour, scoop or when your cat kicks it around.

Is Catalyst Pet cat litter safe for cats?

Catalyst Pet is non-toxic and made from upcycled soft wood with no added chemicals. Cats and especially kittens are naturally curious. While we don't recommend ingesting litter, it won't harm your kitty if some taste-testing occurs. Clay and silica litters, on the other hand, can expand when they absorb moisture, which is worth keeping in mind.

Why You Should Leave Clay Litter in the Dust

Most cat lovers are not aware that clay litters are made of sodium bentonite, a mineral that is strip-mined and not biodegradable, but that’s not where the problems end. Clay litter can also be unhealthy for your furry feline.
