Get to Know Our Catalyst Pet Team: Angie and her cats, Frankie, Kitten and Lovey

Get to Know Our Catalyst Pet Team: Angie and her cats, Frankie, Kitten and Lovey

We’re back with another entry in our series where you meet the people behind Catalyst Pet and the cats who inspire their work every day!

Next up: Angie, our Northeast Transportation Lead, and her trio of feline companions—Frankie, Kitten, and Lovey.

Angie has been with Lignetics—Catalyst Pet’s parent company—for 3 ½ years. Her dedication helps ensure that your favorite eco-friendly litter and other products are always available, whether that's at our plants, online, or at your front doorstep!

At home, Angie is proud to share her life with three rescue cats, each with a heartwarming story. Frankie, a sweet grey calico, was rescued as a tiny kitten after being abandoned with her siblings. Kitten, a regular calico, was born in Angie’s barn to a stray momma who tragically passed away. Angie spent weeks patiently earning Kitten’s trust before she would finally come close enough for Angie to pet her. Her third cat is Lovey, a six-year-old rescue whose name says it all—she’s as lovable as they come!

All three cats are big fans of Catalyst Pet litter. Angie loves how it eliminates odors throughout her home and helps her save money compared to other litters. She also notes that making the switch to Catalyst was easy thanks to the helpful instructions on our website.

Angie often hears questions about switching to Catalyst and always reassures customers that the process is straightforward and worth it. One of the most interesting questions she’s been asked? Why Catalyst litter smells like pine. The answer? It’s made from upcycled softwood, making it both effective and sustainable!

Angie, her cats, and the rest of our Catalyst Pet team are here to help you and your furry family members enjoy the benefits of a cleaner, more sustainable litter. Have questions? Don’t hesitate to reach out!

Why You Should Leave Clay Litter in the Dust

Most cat lovers are not aware that clay litters are made of sodium bentonite, a mineral that is strip-mined and not biodegradable, but that’s not where the problems end. Clay litter can also be unhealthy for your furry feline.
